BINGO-ABDUS Consortium
Advanced BINGO Dark Universe Studies
The Baryon Acoustic Oscillations from Integrated Neutral Gas Observations (BINGO) telescope is an international collaboration, led by Brazil and China, aiming to explore the Universe’s history through integrated post-reionization 21cm signals.
The BINGO Telescope started a new phase in the project with BINGO-ABDUS. The consortium name honors the great physicist Abdus Salam, and it is the acronym for Advanced Bingo Dark Universe Studies. It is an ambitious Radio Telescope resulting from a collaboration between BINGO (Brazil and China), the Netherlands Institute for Radio Astronomy (ASTRON), and Nancy Observatory.
